my plants. i was never capable of taking care of plants while i was drinking. i didn’t care enough about another living thing. now, im seeing them grow and get taller and it’s such a fulfilling feeling. i like to think every time a new leaf sprouts it means that im sprouting new leaves too lol. they’re a nice reminder of my own growth and how important my sobriety is to me.
