I'm coming up on 3 weeks sober. I haven't had this much sober time in YEARS. But this is the first and only time sobriety feels like a gift. And I'm actually seeing my hard work pay off. Except it hasn't been hard. My brain fog is gone, i have energy. I care about myself again and feel like life is worth fighting for. I moved into my new place today after being in homeless shelters and motels for a year. The gratitude I feel is overwhelming. Im going to go to bed and soak this all in. Life is beautiful right now. 🥰
