Another day, another night of insomnia.. will the brain fog go away? Yes. Will the insomnia go away? Yes. Will my life be normal again? Yes. When will this all happen? 1-3 months if I had to take an accurate guess… here’s the thing, in the drug world 1-3 months feels like nothing, time goes by so quickly that we actually don’t care for the time, more care about our next high and then what we gone waste our lives doing while high… but when we are sober time slows down, makes us realize how much more we can get and do in life… but when we have all this extra time all of a sudden after having a very poor sense of time and feeling as if the world was just flying by you… it’s weird ain’t it? Almost a bit overwhelming.. don’t worry you can handle it, you always could you just haven’t done it in a while, and that’s okay… give it 1-3 SLOW months lol it won’t kill you and it sure as hell won’t make you a weaker person… we all love to assume that we are weak people for not being able to control our drug intake or in better words. The drug controls us we don’t control the drug. Yes that can feel weak and deliberating . But at the end of the day, WE ARE ADDICTS. Don’t be ashamed, there’s nothing to be ashamed of matter a fact you can blame your ancestors for more than likely passing you this shitty little gene down to you, or if you developed it yourself through chronic use then you can thank yourself for that, either way the deed is done. The only steps we can take is forward or back. You’ve seen where back will take you, does it seem easier or weaker ? Have you seen where staying sober for longer than you ever have before could do for you ? Does it seem easier or weaker? To do that? Now ask yourself who you want to be, decide if you’re ready or you’re just another person just pretending to be ready because you got forced down this path. You have to want it. You have to crave the freedom and peace of mind that sobriety brings… you have to want it, because you chose it.🍀 ❤️🤘
