Getting sober this time around, I have put the accountability onto myself. Im not giving up drugs for my children or partner. Im doing it for ME! to be a better version of myself. I also try and distract myself with colouring it does sound kinda childish... But just focusing on the colours and the lines really does help. 1 other thing that also works for me is putting headphones on listening to heavy metal music and walking harder (like stomping) helps me get rid of the tension in my body.
