I had to deal with a little disappointment recently. I'm used to my peace being fragile so I've learned not to trust happiness or invest into tomorrow, but this disappointment yesterday didn't break me as something like it normally would. I'm starting to feel like I can lay down my shield and look forward to the future, whatever it may hold
