Cancelled Halloween plans with friends that involved bars and alcohol - I told myself in the days leading up to tonight that I would be able to abstain from drinking when in reality I know that I wouldn’t…so instead, I’m staying home, making a nice dinner and watching my comfort shows knowing that I’m safe, and won’t wake up with shame or regrets in the morning and that decision is probably the kindest thing that I’ve done for myself in a long time. 💖
