I am taking myself out to eat at a restaurant I used to drink at all the time. The waiter came by and said “hey, want your usual beer?” I couldn’t believe the words that came out of my mouth, but I said “no thanks, just a seltzer water with lime today.” I’m not gonna lie, it’s hard AF, but I’m finding myself looking forward to the food instead of just getting food because I came here to drink.
