So thankful to talk to a submarine buddy from over 30 years ago yesterday on the phone for about an hour and a half. Had no idea but he’s 25 years sober this year. I told him about my journey and everything else happened and what an inspiration that he even gave his own definition of an alcoholic. I know we’ve all heard different things, but mostly his summary was when “you choose alcohol over your family, your job, anything in summary you know what I mean
