Back in 2023, I developed necrotizing pancreatitis and abdominal compartment syndrome, as well as lactic acidosis. I had two cardiac arrests and renal failure as well as a blood clot in my portal vein in the liver. I was on ECMO, and I had a 20% chance of living. I stopped drinking for 7 months and picked it back up again for another 2 years, I became diabetic in 2023 due to the necrotizing pancreatitis. It had ruined my life. You would think that someone dealing with all that would put it down, but that just goes to show how strong alcohol is. We are stronger!
