My dad says he’ll never quit his addictions bc when he did he “thought about it every second of every day” and it outweighed what he quit for. He quit when my brother and I were born, so that hurt. Anyway, I told him I’ll always be an addict with an example like him, but that’s untrue and so is his statement. I don’t have to think about it every second of every day. And I am worth quitting for. 🫶🏻
