Milestone reached on Sobo Alcohol: 3 months Chem : 3 months Grateful for the journey. One day at a time. Wow I am so happy about this milestone. Saying no to alcohol and chemical drugs is the best decision I could ever make. It happened at the exact right time. I can see clearly now- what I want, what I feel, where I want to go. Also guys- if you have depression- get on meds, this is my opinion, it’s so helpful and life doesn’t need to be so hard. 3 months is such a weird amount of time, it feels much longer, but makes me feel like time is not rushing that much anymore. You can take your time to live no need to rush. One of the keys to happiness is: stop comparing yourselves! Think of flowers, every flower is someone’s favorite, every flower thrives in different environments, it needs different things and takes different times to bloom. You can put them together in a bouquet and you would say, wow what a beautiful set of flowers. How bland would life be if all flowers would be the same, just like made it a factory, perfected in their growing process. Of course a flower can have a bad phase too, just like me haha, but I just take every new day as a whole new white sheet of paper, ready for anything new to happen.
