“wht do i say to myself when the urges get loud?” i have a few things in my journal tht help put things into perspective: -i can be uncomfortable without making things worse -recovery is built one decision at a time n the version of me a week from now is counting on on me to make the right choice -progress is built in moments exactly like this -im protecting tmr by wht i choose td -protect the future ur trying to build, protect it as if ur life depends on it, bcuz it does -this feeling is temporary. the consequences r not -cravings make promises they can't keep, dont trade tomorrow for 10 mins 💗
