Yesterday was my first day being sober. I got invited to the bar with friends. I was able to just stick with soda water and lime. I felt proud of myself for not ordering any beer. It was also nice to socialize and not feel isolated in this new journey. It just showed me that I do have the strength to stay sober. My friends are also supportive of me.
