Yesterday I went out with mt boyfriend for a date night for the first time since getting sober. I had a complete mental breakdown while getting ready because normally we would go to a bar after dinner and get some drinks before heading home and I knew I couldn't do that which made me really upset. I ended up going anyways deciding I can't continue to let this define me even in sobriety and it went so well, and im extremely glad I took that first outing and got past the hardest part.
