i wish more people understood that sometimes when someone gets sober, they’re personality and hobbies may change along the way. sometimes we turn into someone that other people may not recognize anymore and that’s up to them if they want to stick with you through the journey or if they want to wonder off, but it would be wrong if they attempt to bring you back to where you were. my favorite quote from one of tyler’s songs is “keep moving forward. watch out for those potholes. and don’t ever, ever look back in that rearview mirror. they just tryna remind you where you been, ignoring where you’re going.”
