I had to resign from my job today that I really cared about. Normally I would reach for a box of wine in the turmoil but for some reason tonight I was able to just clean the house and reevaluate my life and what I really cared about. I feel proud of myself even though this situation came as a result of drinking and now I can have a new start in a career field. Whatever that might be.
