40 days today - happy to whiteness double-digits starting with 4! I find round dates especially pretty. It’s a good time to look back and reflect. Past 5-6 weeks been a challenging, painfully slow, non-linear awakening bouncing from constant cravings to hope back to depression, realizing what a mess I am. Yesterday I met someone at the gym who is also sober for 60 days. Its so great to be able to share my progress with someone who really gets it! Its also been a first time I said it out loud to a real person. This entire time I was so afraid if I say it, it will fly away from me somehow, so I kept it to myself the entire journey!
