Hello! It’s me again. I just wanted to bring up AA! I’m 3 days sober this evening after about 6 years of nonstop drinking. Arrests, convictions, terrible decisions, hurting people I love - all the stuff they warn you of. A can I just say I feel like society makes AA seem so taboo. I’ve gone to 4 zoom meetings in 2 days and never felt more welcomed or seen for who I really am and what I’m struggling with. I don’t want to beat a dead horse but anyone looking for advice or guidance, I encourage you to try a few zoom meetings (even if for just a little bit) and see how you feel. If you hate it - at least you tried! But these are the spaces where people GET IT!
