My husband & my best friend came over last night with his kids. I warned my BFF ahead of time that I'm sober & I want to stay that way. He was very supportive. I don't remember the last time, in 15 years of friendship, that we didn't drink together. I got a little overwhelmed and separated myself from the crowd to have quiet time. even though I wasn't present, I was proud that I didn't drink. & I was proud that my friend & husband are supportive of me on this journey. ❤️
