Last night was date night and a friend brought over a free drink that had alcohol in it. It was intended for my boyfriend, who I could tell didn’t know what to say. We’re both sober (at least trying to be) I didn’t even think for a second, I just said, “no thank you, we’re not drinking.” To which I got a surprised and confused look. I didn’t feel embarrassed or like I owed them an explanation. It was nice
